Dear Red Oak Grove Family,
The Christmas season is upon us and thanks to the thoughtful time and consideration of the Church Council we will be able to celebrate in a different way this year. We will be offering small, 20 people, services at various times throughout the week. These services are by Reservation Only. You can reserve your time by calling the church office at 507-437-3000 on Tuesday, December 15th, from 8 a.m. until noon, Wednesday, December 16th, from 9 a.m. until noon, December 17th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and December 19th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. You may also call Marilyn Blume at 507-583-2406.
The service times are as follows:
Sunday, December 20th – 9 a.m. or 6 p.m.
Tuesday, December 22nd – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, December 23rd – 6 p.m.
Thursday, December 24th – 10 a.m. – Seniors only please (to better protect our elders)
We will also be handing out communion and a Christmas Blessing from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, December 24th. This is a time where you can pick up offering envelopes and drop off offering.
Lastly, we will be having a live stream Christmas Eve Service on Facebook at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 24th. This will include the full candlelight Christmas Eve Service including favorite Christmas hymns! It will also be recorded and posted to our You Tube channel later that night.
We hope that you will participate and find Christmas comfort and joy in one of these events! Following Christmas the church will continue with virtual services tentatively through January 10, 2021 where we will evaluate the situation further. If you have any questions, please call the
