Dear Beloveds,
The time has come for us to explore something new, but yet something the church has done for centuries. In newness, we always have many different feelings. There may be feelings of excitement and also like all ways of change, there may be some nervousness or apprehension about how things will go. All of that is normal and as long as new things are tackled together, anything is possible! Working with one another is nothing new to the church. The Body of Christ is stronger when we are working together and sharing the gifts we have been given by the Spirit of God.
While my time will be split between two congregations, not too much will shift in regards to how you can find me. I will be in the office on Tuesdays and as always, I am available by call, text, or email anytime. I will get back to you asap if I do not answer right away. Thursdays will be my office time at Community Lutheran in Geneva. I tend to take Mondays off, unless my week plays out differently. Do not hesitate to contact me if needed!
I am sure that there will be things to iron out along the way, but I am excited and hopeful for the future of our ministry as Red Oak Grove! I hope you all have a fun and safe month as the fairs roll in, as we get ready for a new school year, and as the summer stays hot!
With God’s Peace,
Pastor Leandra
